Satu lagi peranti yang hadir dari keluarga Z iaitu Sony Xperia ZR. Ianya seolah-olah Sony Xperia Z mini yang mengekalkan ciri-ciri dan kehebatan yang ada pada Xperia Z didalam sebuah peranti yang lebih kecil. Sony Xperia ZR dilengkapi dengan paparan skrin sebesar 4.55 inci dengan resolusi HD 720P. Seperti yang terdapat pada Xperia Z, peranti ini turut dilengkapi dengan kamera 13 Megapixel yang hadir bersama sokongan rakaman video HD dan juga HDR untuk memastikan rakaman video yang labih terperinci dan jelas. Sony Xperia ZR boleh didapati dalam empat warna pilihan putih, hitam, merah jambu dan biru muda dengan sokongan rangkaian LTE untuk internet yang lebih pantas. Peranti yang dipadukan dengan Quad-Core 1,5 Ghz dan 2GB RAM ini turut hadir dengan pakej memori terbina 8 GB serta sokongan slot microSD sehingga 32 GB. Untuk harga terbaru Sony Xperia ZR boleh merujuk kepada senarai harga Sony apabila telah berada di pasaran Malaysia.
