It is the latest model to replace the Meizu MX4 which was introduced last year. For this phone, it comes with a larger screen compared with the previous model which comes with a 5.5 inch HD 1080p resolution. The front screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. For its performance, of course, Meizu MX5 specifications have been updated. As rumors before, Meizu MX5 powered by Mediatek Helio X10 8-core 2.2 Ghz that comes with PowerVR G6200 graphics engine. This handset also comes with three variants with the different internal memory of 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB, but it does not support a microSD slot. For the lens, Meizu use of Sony IMX220 sensor with 20.7 Megapixel camera and equipped with Dual LED flash, laser autofocus and support 4K video recording. At the front, it is matched with a 5 Megapixel camera. Meizu has introduced a new charging technology for this model. It is called mCharge technology which is able to charge up to 25% charge in just 10 minutes. Meizu MX5 price in Malaysia is expected to sell for around RM1299 to RM1499.
