HMD Global announced Nokia 1 the cheapest smartphone with price tag USD85 or around RM299 in Malaysia. Interestingly, this device is using the Android Go platform, a special platform from Google for affordable devices with lighter and faster system. Nokia 1 brings a small 4.5-inch display panel with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the phone packed with entry-level CPU, Mediatek MT6737M and small 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. The phone also carries the 5 Megapixel camera on the back while for the selfie camera pack with 2 megapixels lens. This budget phone also has dual-SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity, FM Radio, Wifi, GPS but no fingerprint scanner.

Nokia 1 was launched at MWC2018 with a price tag of $85. In Malaysia The phone priced at RM339 and available starting 13 April 2018 in Warm Red and Dark Blue color option.
