RIM telah mengumumkan peranti ke-3 yang menggunakan platform terbaru mereka BlackBerry OS 10 iaitu BlackBerry Q5 yang lebih mengfokuskan kepada pasaran negara membangun. Seperti abang sulungnya Blackberry Q10, peranti kecil ini turut dilengkapi dengan papan kekunci QWERTY bagi memudahkan bermesej dan sebagainya. Bukan itu saja, ia turut menyokong paparan sentuh pada skrin 3.1 inci dengan resolusi 720×720 pixel. Didalamnya dipadukan dengan cip pemproses Dual-Core 1.2 Ghz yang didatangkan dengan RAM sebesar 2 GB. BlackBerry Q5 boleh didapati bermula awal July 2013 di pasaran terpilih termasuk Malaysia yang didatangkan bersama empat pilihan warna hitam, putih, merah dan merah jambu. Untuk harga terbaru BlackBerry Q5 boleh merujuk kepada senarai harga BlackBerry apabila telah berada di pasaran Malaysia.
