Ia dilengkapi dengan paparan skrin sebesar 4.5 inci dengan resolusi 768×1280 pixels untuk memberikan pengalaman menonton video atau movie lebih baik dan jelas dengan adanya teknologi PureMotion HD dan ClearBlack Display. Nokia Lumia 1020 boleh didapati dalam tiga warna utama hitam, putih dan kuning yang didatangkan dengan memori terbina 32 Gb tanpa sokongan memori terbina.
