Samsung Galaxy S4 Active ini dilengkapi dengan kamera 8 Megapixel serta sokongan HDR dan Aqua Mode yang membenarkan pengambaran di dalam air. Selain itu, ia dilengkapi dengan processor Quad-Core 1.9 Ghz yang didatangkan bersama 2 GB RAM. Samsung Galaxy S4 Active ini turut dilengkapi ciri-ciri baru yang ada pada Galaxy S4 seperti Smart stay, Smart pause, Smart scroll dan sebagainya. Ia di datangi dengan 3 warna pilihan seperti perak, oren dan biru yang didatangkan bersama memori terbina 16 GB dan menyokong memori tambahan sehingga 64 GB.
