Apple has introduced a 9.7-inch sized tablet named Apple iPad Pro 9.7. Unlike iPad Air and iPad Mini model, iPad Pro version comes with improved performance and support for Apple Pencil and also a special keyboard case. According to Apple, the iPad Pro is the best laptop replacement with a thinner design and best multimedia features with four stereo speakers in each corner. For this model, Apple introduced a new color option, Rose Gold, which is not available on 12.9-inch model.

Specification And Features

For specifications, Apple used the same processor as the Apple iPad Pro 12.9 with Apple A9X Dual-Core CPU capability. The new tablet also comes with three memory options of 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB, which also packed with 2 GB of RAM. Besides, this new iPad also introduces new True Tone display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It also comes with the 4-channel ambient sensor for determining the brightness of the screen and set it automatically by following the ambient light. For the camera, Apple has upgraded with a better camera than the iPad Pro 12.9. It is equipped with a 12 Megapixel with Dual-LED Flash, PDAF and able to record 4K video. In the front section also comes with a 5-megapixel camera for video calls.

Price And Release Date

The new iPad Pro 9.7 is available in three memory options of 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. You can also find a choice of Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi + LTE for each memory option. During the launch, Apple also announced the official price for the USA starting from USD599, USD749, and USD899 for Wi-Fi only model. For LTE version, you need to add $130 for each model.

In Malaysia, it might come a little late to the local market. Likely at the end of may this year. For the sale price, it is expected to start from RM2399 (32GB) for the WiFi model, while LTE model begins RM2929 (32GB). While, for Apple iPad Pro 9.7 price in the Singapore, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and UAE, the price starts around SGD898, £499, AUD899, CAD799, NZD1049, and AED2299, respectively.
