Apple has announced their latest smartphone models with a screen size of 4.0 inches named Apple iPhone SE. It is not a replacement for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, but it is a variation with a smaller display and more compact size. According to Apple, consumers are still interested in small-sized smartphone due to more comfortable to hold and easy to carry in a pocket. Its designs are familiar to us. It has the same design and size with Apple iPhone 5S but under the hood, of course, Apple bring better specification and features.

Specification And Features

Although it has a small design, Apple iPhone SE comes with Apple A9 processor which is the same chip used in the iPhone 6S. So, for its performances can not be denied. Apple also has provided two option for memory space included 16 GB and 64 GB as well as 1 GB of RAM memory system. For the photography features, the phone packed with 12 Megapixel and support Dual-LED Flash, PDAF, 4K recording and so on. On the front also comes with a 1.2 Megapixel selfie camera. Apple also introduced iOS 9.3 updates that already install on the device. Other functions such as fingerprint scanners, Apple Pay support, Li-Po 1642 mAh battery, and LTE connectivity also present for this phone.

Price And Release Date

Apple also revealed the official pricing for the Apple iPhone SE for both models 16GB and 64 GB. For USA market, it will be priced at USD399 for 32 GB model and USD499 for the 64GB model. It can be booked starting 24 March and officially on sale this 31 March 2016.

For Malaysia market, it is expected to come to the local market at the end of this May. The price expected around RM1699 for 16GB model and RM2099 for 64GB model. While, for Apple iPhone SE price in the Singapore, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and UAE, the price is expected to start around SGD658, £359, AUD679, CAD579, NZD749, and AED1649, respectively.
